Bennington County is gathering information on all damages sustained by individuals and businesses in the county in an effort to reach the threshold to qualify for FEMA assistance.  If you sustained damages due to the recent July flooding event, please consider reporting your damage online at vermont211.org or calling Vermont 2-1-1 at 866-652-4636 or 802-652-4636.  Please note, there is a sixty-day window to report claims.

The State of Vermont has created a communications network called VT-Alert.  The system will send you alerts using your preferred method:  phone, text or email.  You can choose the types of alerts you would like to receive, such as weather, road closures, public health, emergencies, etc.  You can sign up for free at vtalert.gov.
